This unit has been tested to power on successfully. The LCD display functions properly and indicates the connected 2 MHz obstetrical probe during startup before transitioning to the fetal heart rate display. Audible Doppler output is present, indicating the unit is actively attempting to detect Doppler signals. The included fixed 2 MHz waterproof probe is designed specifically for fetal heart detection and is not intended to reliably detect an adult pulse or heart rate. During testing, the unit did not detect an adult pulse, which is expected behavior for this type of probe.
