The scanner was tested to power on and connect successfully to a computer running Medit Link. The software recognized the unit as a Medit i700 and displayed the matching serial number. The scanner’s status indicator, internal illumination, and handpiece controls responded during testing.

Medit Link reports approximately 2 days, 16 hours, and 49 minutes of total usage and 3 total cases. The software also shows that the manufacturer’s warranty has expired and that calibration is overdue.

A complete scan was not performed because this unit does not include the removable Medit scanning tip required for image acquisition. The i700 uses a tip-recognition sensor, and a compatible tip must be installed for normal scanning operation.
